On May 8, 2008, the Lime Tree Café very generously hosted a fundraising evening for Axum-Africa. As well as providing a fantastic venue for the event, they also supplied the yummy savory and sweet treats from their catering line. Entertainment was arranged by LimeGreen productions.
We held a raffle with prizes donated by local business, and a silent auction of the children’s art from the orphanage in Axum. We also sold Axum basketware.
It was a very successful evening. Many thanks to all who donated their time, money and services!
